On Thursday, I took Ryan for milk and cookies and storytime at Spicewood for the incoming kindergartners.
He went through the cafeteria line with his fifty cents, and proudly bought his very first chocolate milk at Spicewood. I suspect this will be the first of many, if he is anything like his big brother. We visited with other soon-to-be kindergartners and their parents for a bit, and then we headed to the library.
The school librarian read "Kindergarten Rocks!" to the children, and went over all the online resources for the new parents, like the Kids Encyclopedia Britannia, Tumblebooks and PebbleGo.
We had a great time, and Ryan can't wait for August 23.
Neither can Mommy or Daddy - NO MORE COUNTRY HOME PAYMENTS!!!! We'll be rich!!
