How to Keep a Danger Boy Busy

Its been a while since I blogged on the boys other activities.

Alex is still loving Cub Scouts. They recently had their Blue and Gold ceremony, when they crossed over from their Wolf year into their Bear year.

The theme was outer space, in case you couldn't tell.

Ales is also busy getting ready for the Pinewood Derby, which is next weekend.

Ryan is also busy getting his derby car ready for entry in the siblings' category. He can't wait until next year when he can be a Scout and officially race a derby car!

Meanwhile, Ryan is now a Blue Belt in Tae Kwon Do.

It was a rough testing for him - the first time he has had to break a board during testing. He did not pass, which was also a first for us. Fortunately, if you go to enough classes during the cycle, you are eligible to re-test on the portions you didn't make. And he passed the second time with flying colors!

He recently competed in a tournament, and he came in 3rd place in sparring.

I thought his form looked pretty good, too.

Still, he was thrilled to get his trophy, even if it did take all day to earn it.
