Hot Fun in the Summertime

We tried out a new park last weekend, and apparently its so hot that no one else was crazy enough to try it out. So the boys had the park to themselves.

They played for a few minutes.

And had some fun.

There were several great playscapes.

And lots of fun danger spots.

But it wasn't long before they declared it too hot to play.

And we caught them resting in any little bit of shade they could find, and Alex trying to hide from Ryan.

But he found him, and these photos capture Alex's view of Ryan these days perfectly.

Ryan idolizes Alex, and wants to be with him as much as possible.

Alex usually just wants to be alone.

 So back home we went.

Because even annoying little brothers are more tolerable in the cool pool.
