Very proud of my eldest and his work on his 3rd-grade Science Project. I was worried about the "split of effort" as I helped him - but he thought of the entire project himself, thought of the cool title, got most of the supplies, performed it himself, wrote the journal, researched the terms and concepts and wrote it up on the laptop himself. I helped with photos, Powerpoint formatting (that would have taken him 100 hours), a bit of the board layout and talked to him about his ideas, made sure he understood them. We don't even know yet how he scored and I don't really care - he's a Blue-Ribbon first-place winner in my book (UPDATE: And he won first place!)
